Tomasz Wierzbowski (ICT EIT+) granted a STSM scholarship from COST Action IC0902

Junior research engineer Tomasz Wierzbowski from Wroclaw Research Centre EIT+ ICT Research Centre has been awarded of the Short Term Scientific Mission (STSM) scholarship from COST Action IC0902 „Cognitive Radio and Networking for Cooperative Coexistence of Heterogeneous Wireless Networks”.

1st Call for Proposals for Applicable Research & Development Projects in Life Sciences

EIT+ announces the first Call for Proposals for projects in the Life Sciences with emphasis in novel research and potential drug (and biopharmaceutical) development in the fields of CNS; Autoimmune Diseases; Cancer; Cardiology; Endocrinology; Diabetes as well as Diagnostics and Medical Devices. In addition, applications in agriculture with relation to human health are also welcomed.

New visualisations of Building 9A (under construction) on Pracze Campus

Construction works on EIT+ Pracze Campus, carried out as part of the “Lower Silesian Centre for Materials and Biomaterials” infrastructural project are becoming more and more advanced. Janusz Liberkowski, a scientist supporting Wroclaw Research Centre EIT+ for years, has developed a new baby car seat. His project has gone through over 100 tests proving that it is the world’s safest car seat for infants. By voting on Mr Liberkowski’s invention via Internet, we can make the seat sold in one of the largest global corporations.
