Laboratory environment

The laboratory space created in terms of the DCMiB project will be 23,637 m². The laboratories which will be built are meant to be used for research in the areas of biotechnology and nanotechnologies.

Measurement works and characterization and processing works with reference to results obtained will be carried out in a separate building of Central Laboratories. Within the framework of key characterization techniques certified laboratories will be distinguished which will be operating in accordance with 17025 norms.

Inside the buildings, apart from laboratory spaces, there will also be offices, seminar and conference rooms together with back-up amenities. The functionality of spaces under construction will be assured by numerous technical rooms including warehouses, server rooms, etc.
