The company’s activity in this field focuses on research in the area of application of bionanomaterials in therapy and diagnostics, the development of new drugs and their functional forms, as well as research of new strategies of diagnostics for civilisation diseases treatment and prevention purposes.

The aim of the research is to gain innovative anti-carcinogenic remedies and anti-osteoporosis drugs, identification of hallucinogenic substances, diagnostics and prevention of bacterial diseases, research into biodegradable polymers for drugs dosages and their application in surgery and prosthetics, as well as obtaining a new generation of vaccines and antibiotics based on new chemical compounds.

Research conducted in this area is characterised by a high scientific level and a wide range of application opportunities in the medical, pharmaceutical and chemical branches.  The research results will be implemented in technological and spin-off type companies, resulting in an improvement in the quality of life for society.

Biomimetics imitates nature. In the BioMed project, intelligent forms of medicines are worked on which recognise sick cells; the operation of medicines is patterned on the rule of functioning of the viruses which recognise and then infect the cell.
